- David Coombs
David was born and bred in the UK and has been a physiotherapist since 2006. He is a qualified running coach and specialises in treating running related injuries and helping clients improve their running technique. David became a physiotherapist to help patients improve their quality of life. His goal with treatment is to help patients understand the postural habits responsible for causing their injuries and to give them the tools to achieve long-term improvements. He uses a variety of techniques to achieve this including manual therapy and exercise. David is a competitive ultra-marathon runner, regularly racing distances of up to 160km and has written articles for magazines such as Run 4 Your Life and Ultramag..
- David Battersby - Sports Physiotherapist
David is an APA Sports Physiotherapist and the principle partner at Physiologic and helped established the practice 16 years ago. He was the Head physiotherapist and Performance Co-ordinator at Gold Coast United in their first year in the Hyundai A-League. He has returned to practice full-time at Physiologic. His recent experience includes sessional and consultation work with the Gold Coast Suns, Logan Thunder, The Matildas, Golden South Netball and Gold Coast Football..
- Josh Meyer
Josh is a practice partner at Physiologic. He graduated 11 years ago from Griffith University and is passionate about helping people improve their lifestyle and health. Whilst his interest is in musculo-skeletal problems in sportspeople and the general public he excels clinically with the management of golf injuries and golf performance. Josh oversees the Golf Injury and Performance Program at Physiologic and works with golfers of all levels. Josh currently consults to Golf Australia’s High Performance Division and is the QAS Golf Physiotherapist. He enjoys an active lifestyle and has a passion for surfing, golf, adventure racing and stand-up paddle boarding..
- Mark Barrett
Mark is a practice partner and graduated from Sydney University in 1993. He has since studied further in numerous areas including pain, sports, orthopedics, musculoskeletal, psychology and metabolism. He has also lectured on pain and orthopedics at university and symposiums. Mark has enjoyed working with clients of all ages and backgrounds as well as athletes from numerous sports. His areas of special interest include metabolism, management of knee, leg, pelvis and spine issues, as well as running and cycling performance..
- Therese Fossheim
Therese Fossheim graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2004. She has furthered her skills with a number of courses specifically related to sports, pelvic, spinal and lower limb injuries. Therese treats her clients with a holistic approach and enjoys treating people of all ages and conditions. Therese is largely involved in Physiologic’s Metabolic Testing with Mark Barrett which gives a more complete focuses on people's health. Personally, Therese loves to stay fit and active and enjoys running, cycling and dancing.
- Mitch Davis
Mitch recently completed his studies at Griffith University in 2009, graduating with Masters of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science degrees. A keen interest in cycling allowed Mitch to travel and work with UCI Protour cycling team Astana in 2010. In conjunction with this Mitch also has a strong interest in treatment of chronic pain. Mitch enjoys a very active lifestyle with interests in many sports includes cycling, running, golf, cycling, triathlon and music..
- Margo Jones
Margo graduated in 1989 from University of Queensland and has since completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 1997. She has worked in Sydney, London and Brisbane before moving to the coast in 1999. Since completing her Masters Degree she has concentrated on treating patients with spinal based problems and continues to do so. Margo’s personal interests include squad swimming for fitness and tennis..
